Domestic Violence Awarness Month comes once a year…in October. But the fact is, Domestic Violence happens EVERYDAY in America and the rest of the world. The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV.org) is a wonderful organization that can give victims the help and education they need.
Remember: Violent/Abusive relationships don’t just happen in marriage…remember Yeardly Love–The University of Virginia Lacross Player who was beaten and murdered by her ex-boyfriend? If you or anyone you know is in an abusive or potentially dangerous relationship-don’t wait, take the steps needed to get out and get safe. Contact NCADV.org for help. When it comes to the opposite sex-remember this old saying…there are ALOT of Fish in the Sea…pick a good one-that treats you with kindness, respect, and love.
